Soccer Explosion Staff

All of our coaches have an extensive soccer background.  They include former High School players, College players, Amateur players, and Professional Coaches.

All coaches have proven track records including State Cup Winners, High School Championships, and Collegiate final four.       

We have been asked many times about the differences between soccer programs. There are two basic types of  leagues; recreational and travel.

"Rec" Leagues are a good way for children to get introduced to the game of soccer they will learn to enjoy the experience of of running around an kicking the ball.

"Travel Leagues" introduce children to the first like "High School" team experience. Tryouts, committed practices, games that keep score, leagues with standings. With travel teams there are Spring, Fall and Winter seasons. In addition you get licensed soccer coaches/trainers and different levels of leagues play.

In Northern Macomb county, Soccer Explosion provides "travel league" experience. Soccer Explosion is a dedicated group of Professional soccer coaches and trainers. Their goal is to improve the technical, tactical and fitness skill at the individual and team level. Soccer Explosions staff includes former collegiate coaches, players, high school coaches and professional soccer players. The coaches are proven soccer trainers who have the experience and skill set to coach athletes and play at the highest levels with the ultimate goal of participating in the states premier soccer leagues.
